In this 2 day course we first get to grips with the art of Ayurveda facial massage ‘Mukha Abhyanga’.
Stimulation of facial marma points works on improving the function and health of all the veins, bones, and ligaments located here, the related doshas, types of prana, and nadis associated with the points, which can have far-reaching benefits for not just your face and skin but also the quality of your day, mental health and level of awareness in life.
We then go on to learn 2 different Ayurveda facials and utilise tools like the Kansa wand.
The Kansa Head & Face Massage combines the unique benefits of the Kansa wand with marma therapy to aid lymphatic detox, release tension and promote energy balance.
Ayurveda herbal poultices are warmed in a facial oil blend and used to massage the facial marma-point to release deep seated tension and improve energy flow whilst our detoxifying blend of herbs help to purify the skin.
£475 with a Skincare Kit worth £150 or £395 for just the training.
In this 2 day course we cover 2 different body massages ‘Marma Abhyanga’ and ‘Kizhi’ also known as ‘Pinda Sweda’
These massages for part of an ancient therapy combining pressure to specific marma (vital) points all over the body and yogic stretches of all joints. The massage manipulates healthy flow of energy through the body’s junctions and nadis (pathways and channels), and delivery is personalised according to your needs.
For the Kizhi, therapeutic Ayurvedic herbal powders are crushed in a traditional pestle and mortar and tied into a muslin cloth which forms the medium for this treatment, known in India as a bolus. A rhythmic massage using herbal compresses dipped in hot medicated oils and pressed into areas prone to tension or aches and pains. Each compress contains up to 6 different Ayurvedic herbs renowned for effects such as relaxing, easing stiffness and soothing away aches and pains.
To complete the course we carry Udwarthenam, an Ayurveda full-body exfoliation.

Pada Abhyanga (Feet)
Tri-Dosha’s Ayurvedic alternative to reflexology. Combining deeply therapeutic techniques to release energy blockages, improve circulation and restore tired calf muscles, the body is eased and energised. In addition, the soles of the feet are cleansed and nourished. Ideal as a preventative monthly maintenance therapy against the stresses of the modern world.
Shiro Abhyanga (Head)
A deeply therapeutic caring treatment designed to nourish the scalp, and wash away tensions associated with migraine, headache and neck stiffness. It involves warm dosha-specific oils poured into the hair, aiding the nourishment of roots. While the indigenous herbs calm and revitalise the spirit, ancient massage techniques allow the body to surrender and enhance overall equilibrium.
Hasta Abhyanga (hands).
This Ayurvedic hand and forearm massage covers the area from the hands to above the elbows. Hands, wrists and forearms are massaged using special Ayurvedic oils suited to your body type.
Hands are overused, they do strenuous work on a daily basis and are exposed to harsh chemicals and germs. They need all the love and care they can get. This is an deeply relaxing massage especially suited for those clients who don’t have enough time to receive a full body massage. It benefits not just the hand but also the organs of the body such as: heart, lungs, colon and the mind. Particular Marma points (energy centres) of the hands and arms are stimulated during the massage.

Shirodhara is a combination of two sanskrit words to mean ‘Head’ and Stream,’ which is an ayurvedic treatment that dates back thousands of years which involves gently pouring warm liquids in a stream over the head for a fixed duration of time. While the liquids used depend on what is being treated, they typically include herbal oils and medicated liquids like milk and buttermilk.
The Shirodhara procedure induces a relaxed nervous system that results in a dynamic psycho-somatic balance.
Once the mind is relaxed, stagnant waste (ama) is eliminated from the body, thus balancing the doshas. The calming effect it produces is similar to that experienced by meditation.
Research also suggests that shirodhara may help:
Improve sleep quality
Manage insomnia
Lessen anxiety
Reduce stress
